Frequently Asked Questions
Simple, transparent pricing for your care.
Our services are designed to be simple and transparent. There are two separate fees associated with your care:
- Medical Consultation Fee ($20): This fee is paid directly for your consultation with a licensed healthcare provider who reviews your information and determines the appropriate treatment plan.
- Favorite Family Doc Fee: This separate fee is paid to Favorite Family Doc for coordinating your care, providing the platform, and delivering your customized medical kit (if applicable).
Healthcare regulations require that medical services and non-medical services be billed separately. This structure ensures compliance while allowing us to provide both expert medical care and convenient, doctor-curated products.
The consultation fee includes:
- Review of your medical history and symptoms
- Clinical decision-making by a licensed provider
- Determination of appropriate treatment or prescriptions (if indicated)
This fee supports:
- Platform access and care coordination
- Preparation of your doctor-curated medical kit
- Packaging and fulfillment services
- Ongoing support related to your order
You may see separate charges depending on how services are processed. One charge is for the medical consultation, and the other is for services provided by Favorite Family Doc.
Because the consultation involves time and medical decision-making by a licensed provider, the $20 consultation fee is generally non-refundable, even if a prescription is not issued.
Yes. A consultation is required to ensure that any recommended treatments or medications are safe and appropriate for you.
At this time, services are self-pay only, and we do not bill insurance.
While we don't bill insurance directly, many customers use HSA or FSA funds for eligible medical expenses. Whether an expense qualifies — and whether your card is accepted at checkout — depends on your specific plan and the type of expense, so we recommend keeping your receipt and confirming with your plan administrator.
