The Favorite Family Doc Beach Week Kit is specially designed by a family physician to address the most common ailments that beach vacationers face, so you can spend less time feeling miserable and more time making memories.
Each kit includes six physician-selected prescription medications:
These kits may include medications such as penicillin or azithromycin. Individuals with a known allergy to these medications should not order these kits. At this time, we do not customize kits to accommodate medication allergies, and orders with reported allergies will not be approved.
- Amoxicillin — A reliable, broad-spectrum antibiotic for treating ear infections (swimmer's ear complications), throat infections, and skin infections that can flare up during travel and outdoor activity.
- Zofran (Ondansetron) — Whether it's a bout of food poisoning from a seaside restaurant, motion sickness on a boat, or a stomach bug picked up along the way, Zofran stops nausea and vomiting fast so you can get back to enjoying your vacation.
- Azithromycin — A powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic to combat bacterial respiratory infections, and certain other bacterial related diarrhea illnesses that can come on suddenly and ruin your plans.
- Valtrex (Valacyclovir) — Extended sun exposure is a well-known trigger for cold sore and herpes outbreaks. Valtrex works fast to shorten the duration and severity of outbreaks so you can feel confident and comfortable all week long.
- Lotrisone (Clotrimazole/Betamethasone) — Warm, wet, sandy conditions are the perfect breeding ground for fungal infections. This dual-action antifungal and anti-inflammatory cream treats athlete's foot, ringworm, jock itch, and related skin conditions before they get out of hand.
- Bactroban (Mupirocin 2%) — A topical antibiotic for minor skin infections, including infected cuts, scrapes, or insect bites that are common during beach activities.
